The La Meccanica LG series pellet mills are based on La Meccanica's reliable and established (1960) range or standard pellet mills. They have been specifically fine tuned for the manufacture of wood pellets.
Fact: The only pellet mills that have proved continually successful around the world on wood pelleting is the single drive V-Belt machine.
Standard features of the La Meccanica range of pellet mills that make them ideal for wood pelleting
	Robust design: main rotor mounted on cast iron pedestal situated on a heavy duty base frame
	Main rotor: The die bolts directly to the main rotor ideal for high resitance applications, heavy duty rotor design results in a smooth pelleting action. Wear-ring between die and rotor prevents wear to main rotor.
	Heavy duty die flange / die strengthening ring (bolts to the front of the die) strengthening die and further increasing machine inertia and pelleting efficiency
	Single V-belt drive: no metal to metal contact / wear, efficient power transfer, protects main motor. also resulting in a quieter working environment.
	Two roller design with maximum roll diameter (5-10mm less than die radius) design reduces "angle of nip" between roll and die, this results in the most efficient pelleting action
	One piece main shaft : Solid design - main shaft and roller support machined out a single piece
	Front plate and supports designed to eliminate latteral movement (LG series only)
	Automatic greasing as standard (LG version) ensuring rolls are always correctly greased
	LG machines have a high power to track area ratio, resulting in smooth and efficient pelleting action. (narrow track dies)
	Simple no nonsense operator friendly design - reduces down time, running and consumables cost.

LG Series Wood Pellet Mills

CLM 200 LG

This is our smallest pellet mill but has the same technical features as the larger versions. Includes a variable speed metering screw and main rotor mounted on a cast iron base.

CLM 420 LG

CLM 520 HD LG

This is the heavy duty version of the series "520" units and uses interchangeable series spare parts. Suitable for motors of upto 160 kw.
The HD is the heaviest model in the 520 series and is therefore ideally suited for high resistance materials such as: wood, sawdust, fertilisers, alfalfa etc
A "COMPACT" model of this mill is also available which is smaller and requires less apace.

This is the heavy duty version of the series ‘630' units and uses interchangeable series 630 spare. It can handle motors of up to 200 kW. It is the heaviest model in the 630 series and is therefore ideally suited for high resistance materials such as: wood sawdust, fertilizers, alfalfa, etc
Suitable for motors of up to 200 kW.
A ‘COMPACT' model of this mill is also available which is smaller and requires less space.

	CLM 800 P LG
	Because of its strength, throughput and value for money this is the largest and at the same time most popular model. It is based on the CLM800 series pellet mills and has had the most modification of any of the LG series mill, including heavier rotor and die flange, compared to the standard machine, giving unequalled strength and efficiency compared to most other machines on the market to date.
	Suitable for motors of up to 280 kW (380 Hp).
	A ‘COMPACT' model of this mill is also available
	Capacity: 2.3- 3.0 tons of sawdust/hr, 6 mm diameter pellets
